On‑time diagnosis and treatment can prevent the adverse effects of thyroid hormone deficiency on the child’s neurodevelopment. There are many challenges in screening, post‑screening, diagnosis, and managing this disorder. Therefore, this article aimed to mention updated information on this issue.
